InfoMedia, the mobile content company, have launched the
official Tekkers iPhone app. Featuring the voice of Andy Ansah and
over 100 different Tekkers soundbites, the app lets you make your
own Tekkers tone and has Andy delivering the verdict on stars like
Ronaldo, Torres, Kaka, Gerrard, Lampard and Rooney.
Andy Ansah from Wayne Rooney's Street Striker caught the
imagination of a generation with his legendary catchphrase, made
popular through Soccer AM. Now you can make his phrase your
own with personalised Tekkers sounds. These will be made available
as text alert tones across operators in the UK.
Talking about the launch, Andy Ansah said: "Some Tekkers are
good. Some Tekkers are bad. And some Tekkers are unbelievable.
But good, bad, unbelievable or indifferent, you have to be
there to see them and with this new app, football fans can do just
that, all the way through the World Cup. I am really looking
forward to hearing the phrase around the country as fans see the
England Tekkers on display that will - hopefully - bring the Cup
back home."
