Hallow-based technology company Postcode Anywhere is pleased to
announce three new key appointments with plans to recruit even more
personnel.
Joining Postcode Anywhere's rapidly expanding marketing
department, is Lauren Rees who takes up her position as a marketing
executive with responsibilities for event management, trade show
and exhibition support.
Miss Rees, 28 studied for a marketing degree at Birmingham City
University. She has gained extensive experience in an integrated
service marketing department through her previous position working
for Bovis Homes at their South West regional office in
Cheltenham.
Also joining Postcode Anywhere in a technical support role is
Jason Ford, who lives in Mathon. The twenty-three year old is a
former John Masefield High School and Sixth Form Centre student and
studied for a degree in Chemistry and Management at the University
of Bath.
Mr Ford is delighted to be joining the award-winning company
that has a growing customer-base of over 8,000, encompassing
small-medium enterprises, public sector, charity and multinational
organisations. He says: "I was so pleased to be given the
opportunity of working for, what I consider to be, one of the most
dynamic and fastest growing companies in the technology sector.
Although I graduated in Chemistry, IT is a passion and hobby for
me, so you can imagine what a thrill it is to be surrounded by
cutting-edge technology."
Supporting the growing demands of Postcode Anywhere's technical
development team is Andy Bennett who has been appointed as a
software developer and algorithm specialist.
Mr Bennett studied at the University of Birmingham, Edgbaston
where he attained both a Masters and PhD in Chemistry, and was
impressed by the friendly atmosphere and warm welcome he received
at his interview. He says: "The opportunities available and
exposure to cutting-edge programming technologies and hardware (and
of course BBQ days in the summer and the Wii room) confirmed to me
that developing my career with Postcode Anywhere was the right
choice."
