Stratford-based firm of chartered accountants, Murphy Salisbury,
is lending its support to a worthy cause this summer and instead of
holding its traditional summer social, will attend a special ball
in aid of a leukaemia charity.
The Midsummer Ball will be held at the famous home of Sir
Christopher Wren, Wroxall Abbey on June 26, in support of Cure
Leukaemia, a registered charity set up in 2003 to aid the
development of a specialist clinical haematology centre at
University Hospital Birmingham.
The ball is a black tie event kicking off with drinks in Wren's
'Crinkly Crankly' walled garden, followed by dinner, and an evening
of dancing in Wroxall's impressive marquee. Guests can even add a
touch of fairytale splendour to their evening by catching a
carriage at 12.30.
Steve Smith, partner of Murphy Salisbury, said: "I am very proud
to be able to support such a worthy cause in this way, and am
looking forward to the ball immensely."
Tickets for the ball are priced at £45 each. If you would
like to buy tickets, please call Valerie Rooke on 01926 842778 or
