One of North Staffordshire's premier car dealerships has
invested a quarter of a million pounds in the development of a new
bodyshop, creating six jobs for the region.
Knights BMW has launched the purpose built bodyshop at its
Radial Park, Stoke-on-Trent site which offers a full accident
management service for both the Stoke and Stafford branches.
Bodyshop manager Christian Cerrone said the BMW Approved
workshop is fully equipped to carry out all aspects of body work
repair on BMWs and MINIs, with four technicians.
"A great deal of time, money and effort has gone into developing
and building a workshop which offers state of the art BMW
technology to carry out bodywork repairs," he said.
"Our full accident management service gives our customers the
peace of mind that repairs will be carried out to the standard
required to maintain their BMW warranties.
"We are able to work seamlessly with the servicing department to
tackle any issues which arise as a result of an accident and
provide a courtesy car to keep them on the road in the
meantime.
"And from the point that our 24 recovery services picks the car
up to the time it is delivered back to them fully repaired, they
have the reassurance of Knights BMW customer service."
The accident management service is also available at through
Knights BMW's Stafford branch, where Daniel Bate, who has been
appointed as Vehicle Damage Estimator, will manage the process.
The bodyshop also carries out bespoke custom work, fitting
spoilers and accessories to BMWs and MINIs.
With BMW and MINI customers already travelling from as far
afield as Birmingham and Manchester, Christian is confident that
the bodyshop will rapidly become a successful part of the
dealership.
"At Knights BMW, we are constantly looking at ways to improve
our service to our customers and following the development of our
purpose built dealership in July 2007, the bodyshop was a natural
progression," he said.
