Nottingham-based design and fit-out specialist, Paragon
Interiors Group Plc (Paragon), is to open an office and showroom in
central Manchester as part of a five year expansion plan.
The new showroom, which will be situated within the Belvedere
Building on Booth Street, will showcase Paragon's capabilities and
act as a focal point for local clients and professional advisors to
explore "inspiration and innovation". It will also include a
cafe/bar with high-speed wireless internet access to facilitate ad
hoc meetings and networking between the Manchester business
community.
Alan Hardy, managing director of Paragon said; "This new
showroom is not just a fantastic environment for our clients to
research and understand the possibilities open to them but is also
a great testimony to the growth of Paragon. We have worked within
Manchester for over a decade on major projects for blue-chip firms
such as Adidas, o2 and RBS but until now we have never had a local
presence.
"Despite the recession, Paragon has actually experienced
significant growth and positive results, courtesy of a string of
major contracts including the recent 66,000ft project for South
Yorkshire Police. We have ambitious growth plans over the next five
years and this Manchester facility will be the first of many more
regional hubs. In the first instance, we expect to create around 12
jobs but that may well increase.
