Nottingham call centre Domestic & General (D&G) has
appointed a senior HR advisor to join its award winning team.
Sally Lambert, 38, has joined the team and will be managing the
recruitment team, and partnering with operations to manage employee
relations issues.
Sally has over ten years experience in HR and recruitment and
has previously worked for companies including Babcock
International, Norwich Union and Prudential.
D&G, which is based on Talbot Street in the city centre, is
the UK's largest specialist provider of service contracts on
domestic electrical equipment. The firm employs over 700 people
aged from 16-72 at its Nottingham call centre which opened in
1997.
D&G is well know for its positive recruitment strategies,
and has broken the mould of what people can expect from a call
centre in terms of the employment opportunities and careers it can
offer people. The firm has twice won an AARP International
Innovative Employer Award which recognises employers that have
demonstrated a ground-breaking workforce or human resource
procedures addressing issues relevant to workers aged 50 and
over.
The company has also previously won an Employer of Choice
Award.
Sally said on her appointment: "I am looking forward to my new

me, and I am looking forward to learning all about it. D&G is a
