Dudley and District Business Club's new chairman has thrown out
a huge welcome for growing businesses.
Chairman Mick Davies, of MAD Computer Solutions, was elected
with a team aiming to help small and medium sized businesses with
informal meetings to support business owners.
Mick, looking forward to the club's 25th anniversary
celebrations this year, said: "Businesses need to network
effectively to win new orders, and we share our experiences to help
others, and expand their client base.
"My focus is to attract more members, and the more we get
together, united as a local business community, the stronger
we will all be."
The Club's next monthly meeting, at Hagley Golf Club, is at 7pm
on Tuesday May 18, at Hagley Golf Club, Wassell Grove Lane, Hagley,
and the group is inviting visitors and new businesses.
Andy Gibney will be giving a presentation around 'No brain, no
gain' called "Passion or a life of quiet desperation", followed by
a chance for visitors to network with other business members, and
socialise over a superb supper.
The evening is being promoted to dozens of regional businesses,
to aid with promoting their business, building business contacts
and supporting local charities. There will also be a special
opportunity for members wanting to sponsor the evening, at a cost
of £25.

and professions among the membership.
The club also provides a vital service to aid new start-ups,
