Miller Homes' big "Birthday Bonanza" launches 8 May

Dozens of house hunters look set to have a real spring in their step this May as Miller Homes embarks on its 75th anniversary celebrations in style - with holidays, iPods and even £,7500 in cash, all up for grabs in the developer's  big "Birthday Bonanza" which launches on 8 May.

Anybody visiting one of the Miller Homes East Midlands' developments and registering for the competition will be in with the chance of winning one of eight holidays worth £1,000, with one winner chosen from each of the eight Miller Homes regions.

The eight holiday winners will then go forward to be in with the chance to win the top prize of £7,500 - with visitors to millerhomes.co.uk choosing the ultimate winner in an x-factor style competition. Voting will open on 7 June and it is hoped that each of the eight holiday winners' regions will get behind them to help them scoop the top prize.

The East Midlands region, which covers the Woodland Park development in Desborough, is guaranteed one of the holidays meaning someone could be swapping the East Midlands for the likes of Spain at some point this summer - and potentially scooping the big cash prize when the campaign comes to an end on 20 June.

Those who are unable to make it down to a Miller Homes Development can still join in the fun. Online visitors can register their details to win an IPod - one will be given away each day of the competition via the Miller Homes Facebook page, so there are plenty of chances to win.

Sue Warwick, National Sales and Marketing Director of Miller Homes, said; "It's not everyday that we get to celebrate our diamond anniversary - so we thought we should celebrate in style - and give househunters the chance to really enjoy the occasion with us.

"So, we've got eight holidays, lots of iPods - and of course £7,500 - to giveaway, which should put a smile on several people's faces this spring.

"We're not even picking the winner of our "birthday bonanza" either. Our customers, Facebook fans, Twitter followers and website visitors will get to vote for the people they think are most deserving of this money - and we will go with their decision. It really is as simple as that.

"We're also going to give away an iPod Shuffle a day to anyone taking part in our vote - so there really are plenty of ways to win with Miller over the next few months."

For First Time Buyers, Miller Homes still has Homebuy Direct available on a number of developments across the UK  - a Government scheme which allows househunters to pay just 75% of the new house price now but own 100% through what is termed "shared equity".

For buyers with houses to sell, the company is also rolling out "Miswap" - an initiative which makes buying quicker and easier as Miller Homes will purchase customers' existing houses at a fair and independently assessed price.
