Teams from accountancy firm Prime Chartered Accountants rowed
their way to over £1500 for charity in the annual Dragon Boat
regatta at Stratford-upon-Avon.
The two teams, made up of staff and directors from Prime's
offices in Coventry and Solihull, raised the cash for the Anthony
Nolan Trust when they joined 21 others from across the region in
the regatta.
The 'Prime Paddlers' and 'Prime Evil' boats, each with a drummer
to beat the rhythm as the teams rowed, took part in three races in
their 30ft Hong Kong- style dragon vessels, while many friends and
families cheered from the banks of the Avon.
Kevin Johns, director at Prime, said: "We try to support a
charity each year and this was a great way for us to get involved
while having some fun.
"Each team member raised sponsorship money and between us all we
will be contributing over £1500 to help assist the Anthony
Nolan Trust in their fantastic work."
