Hartlebury-based communications agency drpgroup has brought
seven new team members on staff during the last two months. The new
appointments are spread across the group's divisions, helping to
deliver projects for clients including the 15 new businesses the
group started working with in 2009.
Dale Parmenter, group managing director, has set the employment
of 30 new team members as one of his targets for this, the
business's 30th anniversary year. These appointments take the
current total for the challenge up to nine.
drpvideo has brought on board new production assistant Jade
Aldridge to help deliver the division's increasing demands from
corporate clients for video communications solutions. Ian Hough has
joined the drptechnicalservices team, supporting their delivery of
large scale events as a new stage set technician and Steve Newbury
has also joined the tech services team as technical warehouse
coordinator.
The drpevents team has seen the most new faces, with events
assistants Gemma Pulling and Deb Alldridge joining the team. New
project managers Dene Hazelwood and Nicola Schoolbred have also
come on board to help manage the growing relationships with new and
old clients and help deliver the numerous new projects the
department are working on.
Due to the drpgroup's ability to deliver so much of its client's
requirements totally in-house, many new clients approach the
business to help deliver one aspect of their communications
programme, a singular event or video production for example, and
then find themselves using other drpgroup services in order to
benefit from one point of contact and simplify their communications
needs. As a result the project management team is expanding rapidly
to help maintain these growing relationships and continue to
deliver the quality services for which the group is renowned.
Further vacancies are still available with the group. The busy
events team are still looking for a further project manager as well
as a venue resource coordinator to join drp's venue sourcing
service thevenuepot.com.
Dale said: "Even at the height of the recession last year, we
were still able to grow our business and create new jobs, and I'm
delighted that we have continued to do so this year.
"Taking on new team members will help us ensure we continue to
provide the service our clients expect and I'm optimistic that, as
we continue to win new business, we will continue to move towards
our target of 30 new recruits by the end of the year."
