Gainsborough-based firm of solicitors, Burton and Dyson, has
launched a comprehensive new range of legacy services to assist
people in planning for the future and ensuring their loved ones are
well provided for in the event of their death.
It is estimated that a staggering two thirds of Britons pass
away without making a will, in which event their assets are divided
up according to the law, often leaving beneficiaries worse off than
hoped, and paying much more than is necessary to the Taxman.
Burton and Dyson's new legacy services will help people plan for
the future and offer advice and guidance on all will-related
matters, such as will writing (UK and abroad), inheritance tax
planning and mitigation, lasting powers of attorney, conveyancing
(UK and abroad), probate, professional executor and trustee
services, trusts for children and personal injury cases, will
disputes, claims under the Inheritance Act and shareholder and LLP
agreements.
Senior partner of Burton and Dyson, Philip Westcott, is positive
about the firm's new services. He said: "Making sure that your
loved ones are cared for after your death is an incredibly worthy
task, and there is a lot of money to be saved by sensible and
skilful tax planning.
"Therefore it is important that people recognise the need for
this and consult a skilled and reliable professional to advise them
of all their options. We are happy to be able to add this new
service to our portfolio of facilities to enable us to further
assist the community in all legal aspects of their lives."
