Leicester-based art and design supplier Specialist Crafts Ltd
has strengthened and expanded its portfolio with the strategic
acquisition of on-line competitor Crafty Computer Paper. Both
brands will now continue to trade under their existing names and
through their own websites.
Specialist Crafts' director Nick Beavon says: "I am delighted to
complete the acquisition of Crafty Computer Paper. It's an
extremely good fit for us thanks to its niche offering of inkjet
papers, stickers and fabrics, which has seen it develop a
well-established customer base and a dedicated Facebook
page."
The deal, which included the acquisition of all of Crafty
Computer Paper's intellectual property rights and its existing
on-line infrastructure, was overseen by specialist Harvey Ingram
corporate lawyer Rosie Prabhakar.
She says: "The acquisition was tied up very quickly and smoothly
with no disruption to the on-going operation of Specialist Crafts.
I am delighted to see the company expanding and look forward to
seeing the business grow even further."
