HR professionals, directors and business owners are invited to attend the official launch of HR Exchange, Derby's first dedicated HR networking event, which is taking place on Thursday 10th June. 

The event, which is being staged at the Hallmark Hotel (12.30pm - 2.00pm), will be hosted by HR Exchange and features guest speaker Kavita Oberoi, founder and managing director of Oberoi Consulting. Kavita will be covering her experiences regarding people management and staffing issues encountered with her recent high profile investment in Octavian Security, which employs more than 700 staff.

In addition to the presentation, there will be an opportunity to discuss industry issues and network with peers.

HR Exchange is an informal networking group that has been formed to bring together people who are responsible for HR and provide a platform for them to discuss topical HR issues. The group will meet at least twice a year and at each event a guest speaker will present on a relevant HR 'hot topic' - giving insight into how they have approached a particular HR situation within their organisation. Time will be allocated at the end for questions.
