fundraising event in June
The Midlands first and all-new Family Business Awards,
underwritten by Nottingham-based insurance broker and financial
advisor The Wilson Organisation, is hosting a mouth-watering
charity fundraiser at Leicestershire's Quenby Hall.
Quenby Hall is a 300-year family business, with enterprises
today including the increasingly renowned Quenby Stilton, and the
showcase of the fundraising cheese and wine tasting evening on
Thursday 10th June.
Andrew Gillespie of Montforte Wines, another local family-run
business, will introduce the wine tasting, among which will be a
selection of its own speciality Piemontese wines from northern
Italy, introduced.
Tickets are £40 per person and all proceeds will go to the
Awards' three charities - The Willow Foundation, The Children's
Society and The Venture Foundation.
Project manager of the Midlands Family Business Awards, Hilary
Campton, comments: "The event presents an opportunity to raise
funds for the three charities supported by the Awards, as well as
provide an opportunity - in a spectacular location - for our
Awards' sponsors, judges and fellow family businesses to get
together and enjoy some delicious wine, and the increasingly
renowned Quenby Stilton!"
Supporters of The Midlands Family Business Awards are RSM Tenon,
sponsor of the headline category - The Family Business of the Year,
with other individual category sponsors including EFG Private Bank,
Connect Midlands, Aviva, Young & Pearce Solicitors, AXA
Elevate, Blusource and The Mitre Group, with additional support
from Regional Development Agency emda.

international markets', 'Business innovation of the year', 'Fastest
growing family business', 'Commitment to the community', 'Leading
