Award-winning Midlands marketing communications agency, Gough
Bailey Wright has been appointed to handle the national PR for
Drayton Manor Theme Park, home of Europe's only Thomas Land and one
of the UK's most popular family attractions.
As part of the new agreement, the Gough Bailey Wright team, led
by managing director Sue Bailey, will promote the park to the UK's
national consumer and B2B print, online and broadcast media.
The agency, which is based in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, won
the account as a result of the ongoing regional PR support it has
provided over the past 10 years to Drayton Manor, which is visited
by more than a million people a year.
The national account comes as the Staffordshire-based theme park
celebrates its Diamond Anniversary, which Gough Bailey Wright is
helping to promote throughout 2010.
Colin Bryan, Managing Director of Drayton Manor Theme Park,
said: I'm delighted that Sue and her team will be handling the
park's national PR. I've known and worked with Gough Bailey Wright
for more than a decade and over the years I have come to trust
their judgement and admire their passion for promoting Drayton
Manor Theme Park."
Sue Bailey added: "Drayton Manor is a well known and well loved
client, and we are very proud to have been appointed as national PR
consultants. The new account is a reflection of our dedication and
expertise and we look forward to promoting Drayton Manor Theme Park
on a national and regional level in the long-term and
throughout this exciting Diamond Anniversary year."
