There are clear signs that the local economy is improving as
leading regional developer Cedar House Investments has sold another
unit at Calico Business Park, its five and a half acre mixed-use
development in Tamworth.
The company has sold unit two, Hamel House to Key Systems, a
global company, which provides out of home software solutions for
the World Out of Home Advertising Industry.
Key Systems, which also has offices in Sydney and Minneapolis,
is relocating from its existing premises within Fairway Court in
Tamworth.
Agents for the sale of the 2,585 sq ft office facility were
Tamworth-based Calders Chartered Surveyors, who are joint agents
for the scheme along with North Rae Sanders.
Calico Business Park occupies an excellent location on the
outskirts of Tamworth at the heart of the motorway network, just
two miles from both junction 10 of the M42 and A5 interchange and
the town centre.
The mixed-use scheme consists both offices and modern warehouse
and industrial space designed to meet modern business requirements.
Only two units now remain, which are available for sale or
rent.
Commenting on the purchase, Ian Morris, managing director of Key
Systems Out Of Home Software, said:

The high specification of the buildings within the scheme, coupled
with its proximity to all major road links, has enabled us to
provide a more efficient service to our customers."
Commenting on the sale, Chris Carlisle, managing director of
Cedar House Investments said:

growth within the area, as well as attracting inward investment
from businesses further a field who are looking to relocate to
Tamworth. We are delighted to welcome Key Systems to the
development."
With a portfolio totalling more than £75 million, Cedar
