Following its launch last month, the new East Midlands
business "Unconsultancy" has been fully accredited by the East
Midlands Development Agency and there are opportunities for small
and medium sized enterprises to benefit from the highest quality
business help at highly subsidised prices.
Unconsultancy's founding Director; Tim Latham said "There has
been a gap in the services available to smaller businesses. The
intellectual horsepower of the global consulting firms was out of
reach and a bit too ethereal for most SMEs and my experience is
that smaller businesses have been stuck with rather League Division
Two advisers and consultants. I started Unconsultancy to fill that
gap".
Latham has an impressive background and one which is rarely
available to smaller businesses, including PricewaterhouseCoopers,
London Business School, Shell (UK); bachelors and masters degrees
from Bristol and Bath universities and an executive programme at
Harvard. During the last ten years he has started and grown two
businesses.
Latham added "I love working with entrepreneurs and SME owners
and so I've positioned Unconsultancy as the place where brainpower
meets practical implementation at minimal cost. I don't adopt the
attitude of a typical management consultant; I've been there in the
trenches and know how tough it is to make a small business fly.
It's really great that within days of launch we are fully
accredited with the relevant bodies so that qualifying SMEs in the
East Midlands can use us and only pay 50% of our already very
entrepreneur friendly fees. Whether it's a single day of idea
generation and market analysis or a large turnaround project I'm
delighted to be working with great businesses close to home".
