Six degrees events golf networking event for businessmen in
Nottinghamshire is up and running for 2010. An open invitation has
been issued for the inaugural event, taking place in May.
Men in Golf is a networking opportunity for businessmen,
combining the fun of playing golf with the chance to meet fellow
businessmen.
Trent Lock golf course at Long Eaton is the venue for the
monthly events. Trent Lock PGA golf professional Danny Burstyn said
"It is a great opportunity for local businessmen to meet up and
enjoy learning the basics of golf.
The event is scheduled for Wednesday 26th May. Commencing at
15:00pm with refreshments & networking, the event moves on to
lessons in driving, chipping and putting with a golf pro and the
chance to tackle nine holes for those who are more experienced,
before a light buffet is served with a 6pm finish. The events
will be held monthly until October.
Craig Brothers, Partner at Six Degrees Events in Nottingham,
said: "Men in Golf is not just a networking event for businessmen
but also the opportunity for attendees to pick up a golf club and
have a try. It is aimed at all abilities, from men who have never
played golf before to those who are experienced golfers.
"It is a fun and productive way to take time-out from the office
to meet new contacts, learn one of the fastest growing sports and
find out why so much business is done on the golf course."
There is no membership fee, with each event costing £30 to
attend. Golf equipment can be provided if needed. To register, or
