Welton Football Club's Under 16 A team has been kitted out with
new training tops and shirts as part of a sponsorship deal with
housebuilder, Miller Homes East Midlands.
The team, which trains and plays their home games at pitches
next to Dunholme Village Hall in Dunholme, Lincolnshire, finished
fourth in the A Division last season and are hoping that the new
kit will show they mean business.
Phil Cragg, the clubs coach, said: "It is fantastic that Miller
Homes is able to help a village club like ours. The sponsorship
deal has really boosted the spirit of the team and I would like to
thank Miller Homes for its support and generosity on behalf of the
whole team and our supporters."
With Welton Football Club close to their Falcon Heath
development, Miller Homes was keen to show their support for the
local area and help to encourage an active lifestyle for young
people through the sponsorship.
Joy Goodman, sales director at Miller Homes East Midlands,
commented: "We like to give something back to the community and we
do this in a number of ways, from providing local school children
with site safety visits to offering sponsorship to valuable local
community groups - like Welton Football Club."
