Walton Homes has announced the imminent launch of its first new development of 2010; Carisbrooke House, located at Greenway Park off Peelers Way in Two Gates, Tamworth.

Carisbrooke House is a development of 20 luxury apartments, with the majority being two bedroom designs. The new apartment scheme is located within Walton Homes' highly successful Greenway Park development, where the first phase sold out in mid 2009. Construction work is well underway at Carisbrooke House, ensuring that when the properties are released to the market, there will not be long to wait before the first plots can be prepared for occupation.

Andi Summerton, managing director of Walton Homes comments: "We committed significant funds to this development at the start of the year, ensuring that we could launch Carisbrooke House in spring 2010 and not have to wait long before the first plots were available for occupation. Our construction team has been working hard to gear up for the exciting launch programme and we will actually be able to unveil a show apartment within a matter of weeks.

"The first phase of Greenway Park was a tremendous success and so despite the challenges faced by the current economic climate, we are confident that the combination of a quality product, popular location and value for money prices will attract our target market. Carisbrooke House is the first new apartment development to be launched in Tamworth during 2010 and there are very few other new apartment schemes in the area. Meanwhile, the number of first time buyers looking to enter the market is growing at a pace, especially since the recent news of the first time buyer stamp duty threshold now being £250,000 was announced."

Carisbrooke House has been architecturally designed in a traditional style to be sympathetic to the architecture that is popular in the local area. The apartment building is arranged over two and three storeys and a number of the upper floor apartments have Juliet balconies. Each home will be fitted with a high internal specification, including contemporary and stylish kitchens and bathrooms.

Prices for the one and two bedroom apartments at Carisbrooke House will be unveiled on the launch day later this month. Walton Homes has already confirmed that attractive incentives will be available to help first time buyers secure their first home.

Local attractions include Tamworth Castle with its extensive grounds and the SnowDome, Europe's first indoor real snow ski slope, as well as the convenience of Ventura Park for retail shops such as Marks & Spencer and Next.

Walton Homes is a family run housebuilder based in Lichfield, with a track record spanning over 25 years in the regional property industry.
