firms Wealth Management seminars that will outline the benefits of
consolidating a personal investment strategy
A brand new seminar will tackle the challenges facing the
personal investor in the current economic climate and demystify how
to achieve a potential return on investments through personal tax
planning and re-entry into appropriate investment markets.
The complimentary lunchtime 'Wealth Management' seminar is run
by Nottingham-based independent insurance and financial adviser,
The Wilson Organisation, and its keynote speakers will explain the
benefits of consolidating a personal investment strategy, as the
firm's MD Charlotte Prow explains:
"The impact of the recession has meant the personal investment
market has stagnated, with many individuals stalling investment
decisions completely. For instance, the volatile stock market has
led many to be cautious of equities as an investment, whilst poor
returns on property investments make this sector a far less
favourable investment than ever before, and low interest rates have
generated an almost negative return on cash.
"Add to this the imminent rises in personal tax, national
insurance and corporation tax, it is no wonder individuals feel
beleaguered and unsure how best to tackle their personal
investments."
Simon Hellier, speaker at the seminars and Non-Executive
Director at Wilsons, adds: "We aim to address these matters head-on
in our seminar as part of the firm's recognition of the 'investment
issue' that is heightened by the perception that there is a
separation of investment decisions from tax planning. We feel the
two matters are inexorably connected, and that by disconnecting
them, individuals have been prevented from maximising the potential
of their money.
"The Wealth Management session will deliver a timely explanation
on how to utilise holistic solutions and 'tax wrappers' to maximise
tax breaks and investigate the merits of reviewing investments
across the entire portfolio of pensions, direct and collective
investments. With the changes in taxation, a potential change in
government, and a resurgence in the stock and property markets,
there is no better time to review a personal investment
strategy."
The complimentary Wealth Management seminar takes place on
Thursday 6th May 2010 at The Carriage Hall, Perkins Restaurant,
Nottingham, from 12 noon to 2.00pm, and includes lunch. The seminar
will be repeated on Thursday 20th May 2010 at Dakota Hotel,
