Nottingham based property development and investment company
Property Investment Portfolio (PIP), has announced that the
recession has done little to dent it's business - with the company
seeing a 30 per cent rise in turnover to over £4 million and
a 100 per cent increase in profits this year.
As a result of this fifth successive year of growth for the
business, Arv Soar, the company's director has announced that he is
to increase the firm's property holdings and is about to begin a
new purchasing drive in investment properties in Nottingham and
Hull.
Property Investment Portfolio, which last month announced a
£100k refurbishment of its Hull offices and the full tenancy
of its Rock Valley business park in Mansfield, buys and develops
residential and commercial property and sells ready-made property
investment packages to those wishing to enter the residential
investment market.
Arv Soar, who personally owns a property portfolio worth in
excess of £22 million, claims that his company's success
throughout the recession is due to the experience of his team. He
says:
"I've been trading now through three recessions and so have many
of my team. We understand how to invest in good and bad markets,
which is one of the reasons that we achieved good results over the
past year.
"During this recession, the great support that the business has
received from its banking and finance partners has been key. They
allowed us the flexibility to investigate new ventures in the
recent, fast changing market, such as our Equity Fast product,
which enables homeowners to sell their properties."
PIP is also expanding its team and has already made two new
appointments to its Nottingham office this year and is to announce
two more at its Hull office next month. Additionally the company
has added a new lettings and full property management service to
compliment its existing services for other landlords.
