Nationwide schoolwear supplier Price & Buckland has seen a
surge in sales for its range of Leavers Hoodies.
The garments have proved so popular, that the Nottingham based
company has now included the full range on its website for the
first time.
The 'hoodies' are supplied by Price & Buckland to primary
and secondary schools across the UK, and come in a range of colours
and include an embroidered school logo on the front and a complete
list of leaving students on the back. There is also the option to
produce personalised hoodies to help commemorate a special school
event or class trip.
"Sales of our Leavers Hoodies have risen by 168 per cent since
last year," commented Anthony Buckland, Price & Buckland's
joint MD. "Students love the fact that they can keep their hoodies
as a memento of their time at the school and many of our customers
are telling us that they're actually allowing pupils to wear them
for the whole of the final term!
"It was an easy decision for us to put the range on our website,
and in the short space of time since it was introduced, we've
already had over 140 requests for samples from new customers.
"School uniform trends are constantly changing, but Leavers
Hoodies certainly look to have become a firm fixture and I'm
confident that we'll be able to announce another substantial sales
increase this time next year."
