The new managing partner at Yorkshire Bank's Financial Solutions
Centre at the Ricoh Arena has pledged to continue supporting
agricultural businesses in the region.
Paul Reeves, who will be celebrating his 30th anniversary with
the Bank in July, is keen to further develop the agricultural
sector of the business.
The 46-year-old has been appointed managing partner with
responsibility for Coventry, Northampton and Stafford after holding
an identical position in Cheshire and Stafford.
"My plan is to continue to grow our business and private banking
services and increase growth in the agricultural sector,
particularly in Warwickshire," said Paul, who was named Managing
Partner of the Year by the Bank in 2007.
"We will continue to support and advise family-owned businesses,
SMEs and large corporate organisations because Yorkshire Bank is
committed to supporting the communities in which we are based.
"This part of the West Midlands has a strong agricultural
industry and it is an area which I feel we can help businesses in
this sector to thrive and develop."
Paul joined Yorkshire Bank in Royton, Oldham, days after leaving
North Chadderton School in Oldham and steadily rose through the
ranks across Lancashire.
In 2002, he established a banking team in Lancaster covering
Lancashire and the Lake District and four years later he was
promoted to managing partner in Cheshire and Stafford.
Paul lives in Stone, Staffordshire, with his wife, Elaine, and
has three children, 21-year-old Lee who is studying forensic
science at the University of Manchester, 26-year-old Vikki, who is
a nurse at Royal Preston Hospital, and 26-year-old step-daughter
Rhiannon, who works in the children's ward at Stafford
Hospital.
He added: "I will be responsible for 46 staff in total at the
three FSCs in Coventry, Northampton and Stafford.
"I am really looking forward to the challenges ahead as we
continue to make decisions at a local level for the benefit of our
customers and offer the type of products that businesses and local
people require."
