Lincoln-based office efficiency company TBSL has picked up two
national awards for Best Newcomer and Best Marketing Initiatives at
the Philips Partner Awards Ceremony 2010.
TBSL joined forces with Philips last year and is now a reseller
partner of Philips Speech Processing which manufacturers pioneering
dictation technology.
The annual awards ceremony is aimed at honouring Philips'
professional partners and celebrating their achievement in sales,
marketing and technical service in 2009.
The prestigious black tie event was held at Theobalds Park in
Cheshunt and the awards were presented by Richard Noble OBE who was
the holder of the world land speed record between 1983 and
1997.
The original Todds organisation started trading in 1892 and over
the last 100 years has progressed to become one of the major
suppliers and maintainers of digital and analogue dictation
machines as well as photocopiers, printers, scanners and fax
machines in Lincolnshire.
TBSL, or Todds Business Systems Ltd as the company is now known,
is also one of the few carefully selected resellers of DocuWare in
the UK and one of the top resellers in Europe.
DocuWare is the most technologically advanced IDM (Integrated
Document Management) system with more than 6,000 users worldwide
and is a strong growth area for the business.
Alongside the document management services, TBSL offers IT
solutions and services to businesses which need a completely new
computer system or which simply want to enhance their existing
network.
TBSL's Sales Manager Steve Bilton said he is delighted the
company has received national recognition from a world leader in
innovation and technology.
"We have only been a reseller partner for Philips Speech
Processing since the beginning of last year so I didn't expect to
come away with one award never mind two!" he said.
"These awards are a testament to the hard work of the team at
TBSL and we look forward to a long and fruitful partnership with
Philips. This achievement is going to be pretty hard to beat but
who knows? Next year we might make it a hat trick!"
