After celebrating 7% growth and setting out ambitious plans for
the 2010 / 2011 financial year, DDC Outsourcing Solutions has
welcomed heavyweight Client Relationship Director Craig Smith.
Craig joins the business from RR Donnelley Global Document
Solutions where he spent 10 years, most recently as Head of
Operations. He brings substantial experience to the management
team, having managed a 150-man site on behalf of a client and held
a range of operational responsibilities, including budget and
monthly review preparation.
About his decision to join DDC OS, Craig said: "I needed a fresh
challenge. At DDC OS, I will be able to further develop my skills
and support the business as it expands into new markets."
Craig has worked on a range of Business Process Outsourcing
solutions in the public, travel and utilities sectors. He has been
responsible for a comprehensive range of services, managed the
connections between UK and offshore centres and maintained
multi-million pound client relationships.
"My main priorities will be improving client relationships and
implementing new measures that will ensure we deliver the highest
quality of work, on deadline. We don't just want to meet client
expectations, but aim to surpass them on every job.
"As margins get tighter, managers will look to outsourcing as an
obvious route to save staff time and money. By employing a
partnership approach we can develop new services to support our
clients' growth strategies.
"A closely managed partnership can bring substantial cost
savings to a whole range of organisations, but convincing clients
of the benefits of outsourcing is not nearly as challenging as it
is to remove all concerns about sending work overseas. But that is
exactly what we will do."
Managing Director of DDC OS Colin Gray said: "Growing our skills
base is paramount as we move into a new financial year with
ambitious targets and Craig is made of the right stuff. He has
significant experience in the outsourcing sector and with him on
board our clients will without question receive an even better
service.
"As we gear up for the new financial year and develop new
services, it is with our customers in mind. We will listen, take
notes and create services tailored to their needs and that will
align effortlessly with their strategic goals."
