Bosses at a new motor home company on the Shropshire/Wales border are so confident customers will love what they see they are offering a 'try before you buy' service.

Horizon Motor Homes, based in Chirk, sell new and used motor homes and offer a vast hire fleet.

And for those who would like to buy a camper van or motor home but are not sure what type would be best the company are offering to hire out the vehicles, then knock off the hire price if customers decide to buy.

David Ward, managing director, said: "We don't want people to buy a motor home or a camper van that isn't going to be right for them.

"It makes sense that if you are going to spend money on a vehicle that it should be one you will be happy with and that will give you the true experience you are looking for.

"Anyone that is interested in one of our vehicles is welcome to spend a week or a few days holidaying in it so they can make sure they are making the right decision about the right van or motor home.

"If it is what they are after we will knock the price of the holiday off the sale price and our customers go away happy."

Currently on sale are the VW T5 102hp four-berth SWB Camper Vans which are brand new. Among many features they offer alloy wheels, electric windows, electric heated mirrors, colour-coded bumpers, rear privacy glass and Reimo elevating roof and bed.
