The website is the brainchild of Stafford based entreperneur
David Rushton.
David, 25, owns Webwave, a successful web technology company
which has provided bespoke websites for many Midlands
businesses.
Business on Rails went live for the first time this month
(April, 2010). Articles on site for the launch cover a diverse
range of business topics including accountancy, sales, ethical
business, marketing, tendering, environmental issues and quality
management standards.
The site is funded through advertising revenue.
David said: "My work has brought me into contact with a diverse
range of experts from the private and public sectors, all with
excellent advice to offer.
"Everyone in business is seeking an edge and can learn from the
expertise and experience of other successful people.
"This led me to think about the possibility of bringing together
a pool of regular up-dated expertise and so Business on Rails was
created.
"Business on Rails has been created to deliver accurate, easy to
understand information for those working in small business. As a
small business owner I understand that finding the information that
you need quickly can be difficult.
"Business on Rails is designed to help businesses get the
information they need…fast.
"All of our on-line authors are experienced and respected
experts in their specialities who are drawing on their knowledge
and success to give effective and easy to read advice to Business
on Rails website users.
