Leading professional services consultancy Begbies Traynor Group
held its first major Banking Conference at the Hotel du Vin in
Birmingham, where keynote speakers Jon Moulton of Better Capital
and Larry Morris of Mesirow Financial Consulting, the firm's New
York joint venture partner, addressed an invited audience of more
than 80 senior bankers and staff.
Other speakers included partners John Kelly, who chaired the
event, Nigel Price on the work of Law of Property Act Receivers,
Martin Long on offshore advantages, David Abbott on the mutual
benefits of a secondment, Adam Deeley on the need for early
taxation planning, Paul Keyton on fraud issues and Iain Lownes on
corporate finance.
John Kelly, the firm's National Head of Banking and Regional
