The Corporate Recovery practice at the Midlands' offices of law
firm Irwin Mitchell continues to expand with the appointment of an
expert in property insolvency with a particular focus on LPA
Receivership work and property sales out of
administration.
Solicitor, Michael Bennett, says: "I was attracted to Irwin
Mitchell by a number of factors, including its excellent reputation
and national presence. I have joined the firm at what is clearly an
exciting time and I look forward to playing a key role in
contributing to the growth and success of the dynamic
team."
Michael will work closely with Andrew Taylor, partner and head
of Corporate Recovery and Dispute Resolution, and Mark Elder, lead
partner for commercial litigation.
Andrew comments: "I am delighted to welcome Michael to Irwin
Mitchell. He has a wealth of experience, particularly in LPA
receiverships, which will enhance our plans for the strategic
growth of the practice in the Midlands. In addition, he will make
his expertise available to colleagues in our UK-wide office
network."
Michael has a highly-respected track record in insolvency and
property, having acted for a range of clients including accountancy
firms, banks, financial houses, landlords and tenants, local
authorities and national developers. His career includes several
years at HBJ Gateley Wareing and Shoosmiths.
Michael, who is married and has a young son, is a keen
footballer, studies martial arts, plays guitar and sings in a band,
and so is entirely in tune with the excellent levels of performance
demanded by the expanding team at Irwin Mitchell.
