Shuldham Calverley chartered surveyors of Retford, an
established force in rural commercial and residential property in
North Nottinghamshire and the surrounding counties, is marking its
21st birthday by merging with midlands based Fisher German
chartered surveyors to create an even stronger presence in the
area.
Shuldham Calverley was established in Retford in April 1989,
initially dealing only with agricultural and rural property. The
firm expanded its services and moved to its present premises on
Exchange Street in 1997. During this period Shuldham Calverley has
firmly established itself as one of the areas best known
businesses.
Fisher German already has 10 offices throughout the midlands
including one recently opened in Newark. As well as the more
visible estate agency the principal business of both firms is in
providing professional services to owners of all kinds of property
with strong emphasis on property management.
Tim Shuldham, Ian Calverley and Kevin Benson all become partners
at Fisher German and will continue to operate from the Retford
office serving existing and new clients. "Being larger, Fisher
German has a wider range of expertise than Shuldham Calverley,
including areas such as planning and renewable energy which we will
now be able to offer in our region. It is a very exciting
time for us all" comments Tim Shuldham.
Henry Sale, joint managing partner of Fisher German adds "the
response to the news from the Shuldham Calverley employees and
clients has been extremely positive and already the benefits of the
merger are showing in new instructions and additional services
being delivered to Shuldham Calverley clients. We are all looking
forward to the merger coming into full force on the 1st April 2010
and building our business in this area, which our successful Newark
office has already started to deliver."
