HCT Construction Consultants
One of Birmingham's most respected and well known quantity
surveyors has joined HCT Construction Consultants after nearly five
decades with his previous employer.
Richard Price moves to HCT from Francis Graves, where he spent
46 years advising clients in both the public and private
sector.
In his new role at the Coleshill-based construction consultancy
he will be assisting the existing ten-man team to expand its client
base.
Further expansion sees Wayne Humphries promoted to associate
director from senior surveyor.
Wayne, who became a full member of the Royal Institution of
Chartered Surveyors last year, is an experienced project manager
and quantity surveyor responsible for a team of surveyors at HCT.
Specialising in traditional quantity surveying, Wayne and his team
produce detailed bills of quantities for public and private sector
clients, as well as an expanding number of regional and national
contractors.
During 2009, HCT enjoyed a nine per cent growth in turnover.
The new staff appointments reflect the increasing workload at
the consultancy, which in addition to its project management and
quantity surveying services, also offers CDM (construction, design
and management) co-ordination, party wall surveying, dispute
resolution and project monitoring services. The firm works across
the UK on public and private sector construction projects ranging
in value from £250,000 - £30m. Clients include West
Midlands Police Authority, BUPA, Volkswagen Group United Kingdom
Limited, Loomis UK Limited, Worcester County Council, Bank of
Scotland, Allied Irish Bank, Willmott Dixon Group, Interserve plc,
Shaylor Group and the Reserve Forces Associations throughout the
UK.
