Orchid IT, the Midlands' leading supplier of IT support and
services, has been awarded official Silver Partner status by Aruba
Networks, global market leader in secure enterprise wireless
LANs.
Pride Park-based Orchid, which supplies IT products, cabling and
services to more than 1,000 organisations, is one of only a handful
of companies in the Midlands to become an official reseller of
Aruba products.
Aruba Networks' unified mobility solutions securely deliver
wireless access to users by integrating adaptive wireless LANs,
identity-based security, remote access, and vendor-neutral network
management into a cohesive, high performance system.
As a Silver Partner, Orchid will now be able to offer its
customers the latest technologies from Aruba, whose remote
networking solutions ensure uninterrupted access to applications as
users move.
Orchid will also have access to Aruba's valued sales team, which
will enable it to continue to extend its existing customer
base.
Commenting on this latest accreditation, Brett Critchley,
managing director of Orchid, said: "We are delighted to be an
Aruba Silver Partner and look forward to establishing a
long-standing relationship with Aruba."
"We are very impressed with the Aruba platform and are currently
installing a system at the new Derbyshire YMCA on London Road in
Derby.
Bob Vickers, UK regional sales director for Aruba Networks,
added: "We are very pleased that Orchid IT has joined the
Aruba Partner Program. Their commitment to high levels of customer
service and providing innovative IT solutions, will be complemented
by Aruba's simple to deploy and highly secure wireless LAN
solutions."
