Derbyshire-based leading asset management consultancy and
software house, Chevin Fleet Solutions, is preparing for a glitzy
awards evening after cruising to the final of 2010's prestigious
Fleet News Awards.
Chevin has made it into the top flight of fleet suppliers and
now has to battle it out with five of the industries biggest names
including AA Business Services, Hitachi Capital Vehicle Solutions,
Auto Windscreen, GMF Support and Autowide to be named Fleet
Supplier of the Year.
The news follows Chevin's recent announcement of its expansion
in Australia and its appointment by the UK's largest comprehensive
tyre service provider, ATS Euromaster, to help manage and optimise
its 1,400 vehicle fleet.
Ashley Sowerby, founder and managing director of Chevin, said:
"It's a testament to the hard work and dedication of our people to
be named as one of the best in the business. Recent tough trading
conditions have hit the automotive industry particularly hard,
which makes the acknowledgement all the more important."
In recent years Chevin has also been recognised by the ITM
(Institute of Transport Management) with an award for Best Fleet
Management Software, and been highly commended in the Fleet World
Honours.
The company was established in 1990 and has since gone from
strength-to-strength, supplying its bespoke fleet and asset
management solutions to a diverse range of businesses with bases in
the UK, Ireland, North America and Australia.
The awards ceremony received a record number of entries to the
14 categories this year, and will take place on 17 March at
London's exclusive Grosvenor Hotel in Park Lane.
