Derbyshire-based Chevin Fleet Solutions, a leading supplier of
fleet and asset management software, has narrowly missed out on a
top industry award at one of the fleet industry's most prestigious
events this month.
Chevin, who were short-listed with just five other candidates in
the Fleet Supplier of the Year Category, was pipped to the post by
Nationwide Autocentres, who scooped the converted prize at a
spectacular Fleet News Awards, held in London's Park Lane.
Karan Ridgard, operations director of Chevin Fleet Solutions,
said: "Fleet News put on a magnificent show, which gave the
industry a well deserved opportunity to praise the successes of
organisations and the hard work of individuals during a tough
year.
"To be named among a handful of the biggest names in the
business is a great achievement and a testament to the efforts of
our team. The industry faces another challenging year, but we're
confident we will rise to whatever is in store and walk away with
the award at next year's event!"
Chevin Fleet Solutions was established in 1990 and has since
gone from strength-to-strength, supplying its bespoke fleet and
asset management solutions to a diverse range of businesses with
bases in the UK, Ireland, North America and Australia.
The company faced stiff competition in the category from Auto
Windscreens, FMG Support, AA Business Services and Hitachi Capital,
with the overall winner being chosen by a panel of judges with a
wealth of experience in the sector.
