After being only a whisker away from victory at the HighGrowth East Midlands Awards, Worksop-based DDC Outsourcing Solutions sets out to surpass what has been its most successful year to date. 

The award ceremony recognised the most successful candidates of the East Midlands Development Agency's business support programme HighGrowth East Midlands. Over 200 businesses attended the black-tie event at Nottingham's Belfry Hotel on 11 March where they got a rare opportunity to meet BBC East Midlands Today presenter, Anne Davies and Secret Millionaire, Kavita Oberoi.

DDC Outsourcing Solutions finished behind winner Mansfield-based Carter Brown Associates in the Growth Readiness category - the award which recognises businesses that have shown a particularly clear growth strategy and have outstanding potential for further growth.

Managing Director Colin Gray said: "It is an honour to be recognised amongst so many prosperous businesses. If anything it has fuelled our ambitions for further growth and as we review our financial results for 2009/2010, I am confident we can surpass what has already been our most successful year to date."
