Generous staff at Pershore-based Chalcroft Construction have
raised more than £600 for the Midlands Air Ambulance.
The construction company, which specialises in projects in the
food industry, recently held its Christmas party with guests buying
raffle tickets to win original paintings by a local artist.
Operations director Scott Wilson commented: "We were extremely
busy in the run-up to the end of the year and decided to hold our
Christmas party after the usual festive season.
"We thought we would donate the raffle funds as a late Christmas
gift to the air ambulance, which provides an invaluable service
across the Midlands."
The Midlands Air Ambulance Charity is responsible for funding
and operating three air ambulances serving the Midlands and Welsh
border region and is funded solely by the public and local
businesses.
