Latest letting boosts Centre City success in Birmingham

The office agency team of leading property consultants, GVA Grimley, has completed a letting on behalf of Shatto Holdings Limited at Centre City in Birmingham.

Perceptive Informatics, an industry leading provider of eClinical solutions, has taken a 5 year lease of the 8th floor, totalling 7,500 sq ft at £12.50 per sq ft with an undisclosed rent free period. The new occupier was represented by PSK Knighton.

"The lease on premises in Brindleyplace was due to expire and Perceptive Informatics parent company, PAREXEL International Ltd, wanted to find a more appropriate space for its technology business in Birmingham. Centre City was the ideal solution, meeting our criteria for specification and location, whilst offering considerable rent savings." explains Nigel Knighton of PSK Knighton.

Centre City is a 21 storey Grade A office space, prominently situated on the corner of Hill Street and Smallbrook Queensway in Birmingham city centre. Features include an impressive double height reception foyer and central atrium with wall climbing lifts, air conditioning, column free space and an in-house coffee shop.

George Jennings, Associate Director with the office agency team at GVA Grimley, commented: "Centre City offers the winning combination of great space at an unrivalled price in a prominent location.  With New Street Station a two minute walk away, immediate access to bus routes and the Midlands motorway network, occupiers couldn't be better connected.  Other benefits include the closeness to Bullring, The Mailbox and the central business district all on the doorstep, Centre City can meet both business and leisure needs."

The site also benefits from 24 hour on-site security 365 days of the year, a comprehensive CCTV system and secure on-site parking.

"Centre City offers Grade A space and the remaining 40,000 sq ft is generating plenty of positive interest. I would encourage all interested parties to view the space for themselves - they won't be disappointed," added Jennings.
