GVA Grimley in Birmingham has advised on a hat-trick of lettings
of self-contained office units in Bromsgrove on behalf of West
Midlands Contracts.
Indicating a healthy upturn in the Midlands' courtyard office
market, two units have been let and an additional one sold within
the space of two months at Aston Court, a new development of
self-contained office buildings at Bromsgrove Technology Park.
Aspiration Training, LGC Forensics and First Grade International
Ltd will all be moving to the site after each agreeing a deal on
2,228 sq ft units.
Andrew Venables, Director at GVA Grimley in Birmingham, said:
"Many smaller businesses have found it difficult to justify a
relocation during the economic downturn, but these three deals in
quick succession go some way to demonstrate a new level of optimism
in the local office market.
"Offices are available on either a freehold or leasehold basis
at Aston Court and this flexibility in quoting terms has been vital
in securing deals. As prices have stabilised over recent
months, occupiers are now seeing that it is a very good time to
make a move."
Phill Rogers, from West Midlands Contracts, said: "Many smaller
occupiers still find having 'own front door' offices to be an
attractive proposition and Aston Court has proved a popular
location for local businesses, with over 13,500 sq ft now
occupied.
"These latest deals follow on from previous agreements with
Johnson Fleming and Ser-Tec Systems (Midlands) Ltd and availability
is now limited to five remaining units on the site - available from
1,197 sq ft up to 8,841 sq ft in a combined unit."
