A growing company which specialises in cutting-edge information
technology solutions and ongoing support for businesses has
moved.
Air-IT opened in new premises at Nottingham Business Park, just
over a mile from its previous base on Nottingham Road, Nuthall.
The company was formed in 2005 by Todd McQuilkin, who had been
IT director for successful medical equipment manufacturer Femcare,
formerly of Nottingham.
Having started Air-IT five years ago Todd has seen it grow to a
company employing a total of nine people.
The company, a Microsoft Gold Partner, offers a full range of
tailored IT services to small and medium size enterprises. It can
effectively act as a company's in-house IT department or complement
existing resources.
It has a diverse range of clients across the East Midlands
including Nottingham companies Skills Motor Coaches and Churchill
Steeplejacks.
With an increased workload, Air-IT has been looking for some
time for new premises and has invested £300,000 in buying and
equipping the two-storey building at the prestigious business park
which is home to the DVLA and Highways Agency among others.
The new premises have state-of-the-art IT infrastructure to
showcase the company's products and services to both existing and
potential clients, and are conveniently situated close to the M1
and Nottingham city centre.
As part of its greener IT initiative the company will be aiming
for a 'paperless office' through its new document management
software.
A high-tech training suite will enable Air-IT to provide a range
of customised training programmes to complement the growing range
of services on offer.
Air-IT has already taken on one new member of staff to cope with
an increasing workload and it is likely that more jobs will be
created as the company continues to grow.
Todd said: "We have made this investment to keep us at the
forefront of information technology so we can offer clients the
best possible advice and guidance in their business technology
needs."
