Expanding PR agency Richard Swancott Associates has moved to new
premises and added to their workforce to help satisfy demand for
their PR workshops.
The success of the Be Your Own PR Person seminars and coaching
programme has prompted the company's switch to Lymedale Business
Centre, Newcastle-under-Lyme, and the arrival of Staffordshire
University graduate Ellen Argile.
Owner Richard Swancott believes the increased manpower,
organised through the West Midlands Graduate Internship Scheme,
will help the firm build on events held at Leek College and
Lymedale this year.
It will also enable them to expand their social media campaigns
and offer more services, including podcasting, to their
clients.
Richard Swancott said: "The recession has encouraged small
business owners to consider their marketing spend more carefully,
and do as much as they can in-house.
"This has made our PR workshops and coaching programme very
popular, because it allows them to make better use of their
marketing budgets.
"Ellen's arrival will allow us to take them further afield and
run them more often, which should enable us to add more new
recruits later in the year."
They have organised more workshops for Lymedale (29th March),
Cranage Hall near Holmes Chapel (29th April) and Holiday Inn
Clayton (2nd May).
The next session of their coaching programme takes place on 22nd
March, also at Lymedale, and features a presentation from Beacon 4
Business' Karen Cotton on how businesses can generate more leads
through Twitter.
