Experienced business brains among members at Dudley and District
Business Club are to meet a challenge next week - and attempt to
offer solutions to some of the major headaches in running a
company.
The Club's monthly meeting, at Hagley Golf Club, at 7pm on
Tuesday March 16, at Hagley Golf Club, Wassell Grove Lane, Hagley.
Members are inviting new businesses to join older hands, to
benefit and support one another.
Stuart Price, chairman of Dudley and District Business Club,
said: "This will be a really innovative format We will be
putting several business scenarios to the members and then giving
them the opportunity to work together to arrive at a solution for
presentation to the rest of the group.
"These could be cost-effective ways of managing cash flow,
dealing with difficult staff members, solving IT issues, setting
and measuring performance and focusing sharply on your business
vision.
"One of the main challenges for any small owner managed business
is that they often have no one else to share their problems with.
This evening will hopefully show that, by working together, any
issues can be resolved."
Dudley and District Business Club welcomes business owners from
the individual self-employed to companies employing up to 20
people, from solicitors to accountants, engineers to plumbers, with
people from most trades and professions among the membership.
The club also provides a vital service to aid new start-ups,
essential for encouraging growth in the local economy. The first
few weeks and months of any new enterprise are the most vulnerable,
and can be lonely; that's when membership of DDBC can be most
beneficial, when you can gain from the experiences of people who
have already gone through what you are going through.
The club, membership just £25 a year, meets the third
Tuesday of each month, over a hot supper, for networking. A small
charge is made for the evening, and booking is essential via the on
line booking form at www.ddbc.co.uk
