Director Peter Lewington welcomes new team, ITT Projects
Colwick based ITT Water & Wastewater this week welcomed 12
new staff to its Nottingham offices. The team, ITT Projects, brings
together expertise from all its brands; Flygt, Sanitaire, Wedeco
and Leopold, to boost its capabilities in the UK's waste and
wastewater treatment industry.
ITT WWW has been based in Nottingham for over 40 years, starting
life as Industrial Pumps Ltd in 1969. ITT Projects signifies the
latest development in the growth plans for the business, as the new
team can offer unrivalled expertise in water treatment processes,
product knowledge and systems design and engineering.
Duncan Leathley, ITT WWW's General Manager: Projects, said: "The
ITT Projects team is integral to our future growth. Relocating
staff from Rugby to our offices in Nottingham means that we can
benefit from the central resources and work across the whole
business to add specialist knowledge and expertise to our
customers' projects, as well as increasing our overall
capabilities. As a result the business is able to bid for more
complex projects and reach new markets."
The ITT Projects team will be responsible for project
management, implementation and installation of complex solutions,
such as sewage treatment works refurbishment - working across ITT
WWW's main pump, filtration and water treatment brands and
services.
ITT WWW employs 98 people at the Colwick offices in Nottingham
and the business welcomed the new team with a tour, mini-exhibition
and networking session.
