Guidance on how simple planning can deliver potential tax
savings in the run up to the end of the tax year, will be unveiled
at a 'Beating the Odds' seminar, run for local businesses by
Nottingham-based independent insurance and financial adviser, The
Wilson Organisation.
At next week's event, the last in the series run by Wilsons'
which has provided businesses with advice and guidance on ways for
saving money, speakers Richard Stanley of accountants Smith Cooper,
Lee Westley, a consultant with Harold Wilson Financial Services,
and Simon Hellier, non-executive director at the Wilson
Organisation, will together provide tips on how to maximise short
and long-term tax savings whilst maintaining personal financial
flexibility.
"With legislation on personal tax liabilities often changing,
many people miss out on potential tax savings that could be
achieved by following some simple planning steps," explains
Wilsons' MD Charlotte Prow. "It's no surprise that many people find
personal tax liabilities a minefield and are unaware of the
potential savings, so this event will see our expert speakers share
some top tips on how to work with the tax man in order to maximise
tax savings, whilst at the same time maintaining personal financial
flexibility."
The session will also provide some simple tax planning tools for
the current tax year and offer ideas for longer-term planning as
part of an ongoing financial strategy.
This complimentary 'Beating the Odds - Beating the Personal Tax
Man' session takes place on the 25th February at The Carriage Hall,
Perkins Restaurant, Nottingham, from 12 noon to 2.15pm, and
includes lunch. To reserve a place, email: jwilson@wilorg.com or
