Invitations have been sent to a host of businesses throughout
the West Midlands to take advantage of FREE events which focus on
trading within Europe and the global market.
The events at The National Exhibition Centre and Hilton
Metropole in Birmingham on the 2nd and 3rd March feature experts
from across Europe and the world, with guest speakers talking about
international trade in Europe, China, India and the United
States.
Organised by Coventry University Enterprises Ltd in conjunction
with UK Trade and Investment these seminars will provide insights
from already successful exporting SMEs.
Doug Mahoney, International Trade Director for the West
Midlands, said: "In these difficult economic times companies
must ensure that they are exploring all new markets. Not only
is this a unique opportunity to learn and network but there is also
access to grants and funding to support local businesses in their
export planning "
The events include presentations by award-winning financial
reporter and business presenter Adam Shaw from the BBC Radio Today
programme as well as Dragon's Den participant and inventor of the
"Rapstrap" Andy Harsley. Companies can also book one to one
appointments with Commercial Officers from ten European
countries.
Doug continues: "The event on the 2nd March focuses on
Europe and the 3rd March focuses on the global market including
Asia and the USA. These are two exciting and informative days for
our local business community."
