around their new school
Mansell staff working on a major project to build a new primary
school in Bilston have been showing off the new building to the
pupils who will study there.
Mansell has completed the new Stowlawn Primary School at The
Willows campus in Green Park Road, and is now progressing
with Green Park School on the same site.
Each class at Stowlawn had an escorted tour of the new
facilities. They saw their new classrooms, library, ICT suite and
outdoor play areas. In particular the youngsters loved a French oak
tree trunk which forms a major feature in the new library.
The Education team of Mansell's Stourbridge-based Western region
is constructing the new school buildings on behalf of Wolverhampton
City Council. The new schools will include community facilities,
and make extensive use of a self-sustaining ecological green roof,
along with a brown roof and biomass heating systems.
