Hartlebury-based communications agency the drpgroup is
celebrating its 30th year of business in June this year and to
celebrate this achievement, the group has planned a series of
challenges, promises and community projects in the lead up to the
official celebration date of June 19th. After performing well last
year, despite the difficult economic climate, the company is
looking to the future with confidence.
Beginning as a video production firm in 1980, the drpgroup, led
by managing director Dale Parmenter, has grown to become a
fully-integrated communications agency, providing video, events,
print, interactive and team development solutions for clients
across the globe from its production facilities in Hartlebury,
Worcestershire and Covent Garden, London.
The countdown to the big milestone officially began on Monday,
8th February, at the company's Covent Garden facilities. It
signified the start of the group's planned projects, initiatives
and improvements to the business which will culminate in
celebrations on the date of the anniversary itself, the 26th
June.
Built around the theme of 30 years in business, the drp will be
carrying out 30 different environmental, social and community
focused projects to return the amazing support the group's business
partners and local community have shown throughout the group's
history. These will include the planting of 30 trees in areas local
to the drpfacilities, the donation of 30 days worth of community
service by the drpteam and the provision of 30 work experience
places to students looking to make a start in the communications
industry.
The group will also be looking inwards during this time, making
30 customer service improvements, finding 30 ways to reduce costs
and making 30 environmental improvements to the way they do
business. These, and some of the many other projects planned for
the next sixth months were revealed at the February press
conference, with the remaining projects to be revealed as the year
progresses through the group's dedicated 30th anniversary
website.
The drpteam have already begun crossing some of their challenges
off the list with 6 awards won out of the target 30, the drplondon
office has played host to a troop of scouts on their first trip to
London and an extensive customer survey carried out last year has
laid the foundations for the group's promise of 30 customer
improvements.
drpgroup managing director Dale Parmenter said: "To be fast
approaching 30 years in business is a fantastic milestone for any
company, and having been here from the very beginning, watching us
grow as we have done, I have always felt indebted to the fantastic
drpteam and the clients we work with.
"Our 30th celebrations and our 30 projects and initiatives are a
fantastic opportunity for us to develop and improve our service for
our clients, while giving something back to the communities which
have supported us throughout our growth."
