Browne Jacobson can announce the appointment of commercial
projects specialist Craig Elder as a partner in its business
services team.
Craig joins the firm from Eversheds in Leeds. His experience
encompasses all aspects of PPP and PFI contracts with particular
expertise in waste management.
Elder has acted on a number of high profile projects including
advising the Ministry of Defence on a ground breaking £700
million PPP Combined Aerial Target Services (CATS). The project was
awarded "Best UK PPP to sign" at the 2007 PFI/PPP Awards.
He has also advised Merseyside Waste Disposal Authority on its
major Resource Recovery & Waste Management PFI, MVV Umvelt GmbH
on their bids to Leeds City Council, South Tyneside Waste
Management Partnership and Hertfordshire County Council Waste PFIs
and Sterecycle Limited on their major waste processing contract
with Barnsley, Doncaster and Rotherham Councils.
