Shropshire
An accomplished Midlands entrepreneur who achieved 11th place on
the Inner City 100 Register of fastest growing companies will be
giving Birmingham business bosses the benefit of his experience
when he visits Solihull on Friday February 19th.
Mark Harris, Managing Director of leading Shropshire based
business improvement consultancy, The Business Company, will
address members of the Birmingham Chapter of Business Network
International (BNI) UK at Hogarth's Hotel.
With 650 Chapters in the UK alone, BNI is the world's largest
international business networking group. The Phoenix Chapter in
Birmingham is among the top ten Chapters in the UK.
Speaking about the effects of the current financial climate on
Birmingham businesses Mark Harris said today: "The DTI has forecast
that more than 10,000 businesses will fail during 2010, and without
doubt the climb out of the recession pit will be an uphill struggle
for many survivors. I believe, however, that with pragmatic
planning, sound financial management and engagement with their
people, local businesses here in the Midlands will be well-equipped
to tackle the climb and able to grow out of the recession to become
even stronger."
