The financial planning arm of a Stratford accountancy firm is up
for the most prestigious award in its industry - and the second
national award for which has been shortlisted in a matter of
months.
Leigh Graham Financial Planning, a joint venture between
Redbourne Wealth Management and the John Street based accountancy
practice Leigh Graham Associates, are thrilled that Redbourne
Wealth Management has been shortlisted for the Small Independent
Financial Adviser award in the annual Money Marketing Financial
Services Awards due to be presented later this month.
Last year it won another prestigious prize - the Financial
Adviser magazine's Small IFA of the Year award.
Leigh Graham Associates partner Leigh Day said: "This is the top
award in the financial services industry and attracts hundreds of
entrants every year. It's the one everyone wants to win."
Senior consultant Chris Payton added: "We were over the moon
when we found out and managing director Gordon Hay had to go down
to London for an interview with a panel of judges. To be
shortlisted is more than we ever expected as we are up against some
really tough competition and many of these firms have been trading
for a number of years and are well established. Considering we are
just into our third year we are really pleased."
The awards ceremony, which attracts the biggest names in
investment, insurance, pension and healthcare, takes place at the
Grosvenor House Hotel in London's Park Lane on March 25.
